Julia Edwards, PA-C

Julia Edwards, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at NewMed Immediate Care, which has locations in Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, and Prospect, Illinois. She provides compassionate, efficient, and high-quality care to his patients.

Julia is committed to serving the Chicagoland area, volunteering for several organizations that provide communities in need with access to food and primary healthcare services. She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago and her master's degree in physician assistant studies at Northwestern University. 

Julia worked as a hospitalist at Northwestern Memorial/Shirley Ryan Ability Lab for several years before joining Cermak Medical Group in 2024. At Cermak Medical Group, Julia applies her knowledge of internal medicine, wound care, pain medicine, and psychology to treat patients holistically. 

Julia is an empathetic listener who is passionate about getting individuals back to doing the things that give them joy as quickly as possible. 

Outside of her time at NewMed Immediate Care, Julia enjoys gardening, composting, cooking, traveling, and spending time with loved ones, including her cat, Zoe.
