Laura Jorgensen, NP, is a dedicated and compassionate family nurse practitioner at NewMed Immediate Care, which has locations in Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, and Prospect, Illinois. She has both urgent care and family medicine experience and provides compassionate, high-quality care to her patients.
Laura graduated with honors with her Master’s in Nursing in 2015. Since then, she has gained experience in the urgent care as well as the family practice settings.
She strives to connect with her patients by listening to their needs and addressing their concerns so that they can collaborate on a plan of care together. Additionally, Laura speaks Spanish which helps her serve NewMed Immediate Care’s diverse patient population.
Outside of work, Laura loves spending time with family, her two dogs, and her cat. She also loves traveling and immersing herself in new cultures and foods.

We treat non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries including flu, COVID-19, strep throat, ear infections, UTIs, sore throat, lacerations, sprains and strains, minor burns, work injuries, and rashes. We also offer primary care, STD testing, physicals, women's health, and management of chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes, and high blood pressure.
Our patients are seen within 15–30 minutes of arrival, though wait times vary by location, time of day, and visit complexity. To minimize your wait, book your visit online in advance or call the location nearest you before walking in.
