Shannon Shipman is an NCCPA board certified Physician Assistant. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and Master’s degree in PA studies at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. Throughout her rigorous education, she was able to learn all necessary medical skills and put them into practice. Shannon was able to work with many populations during her training in Indiana and learned how to practice patient-centered care. Shannon is interested in all aspects of medicine but has a special passion for women’s health, ENT, and dermatologic conditions. Shannon Shipman strives to provide comprehensive, empowering, and patient-centered care to all of her patients no matter the situation at hand. In her free time, Shannon loves taking her dog for walks, trying new restaurants with friends, and crafting.

We also offer primary care, STD testing, physicals, women's health, and management of chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome at all three NewMed Immediate Care locations — Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, and Mt. Prospect, Illinois — seven days a week from 8 AM to 9 PM. No appointment is required, though you can book online or call ahead to reduce your wait time.
